Nvidia: EU approves acquisition of Run Labs
(CercleFinance.com) - Under EU Merger Regulations the European Commission has unconditionally approved the proposed acquisition of Run Labs by Nvidia Corporation.
The Commission concluded that the transaction would not give rise to competition concerns in the European Economic Area (EEA).
The Commission examined the impact of the transaction on the markets for the supply of (i) graphics processing units (GPUs) for use in data centers and (ii) GPU orchestration software.
The Commission therefore concluded that the proposed acquisition would not give rise to competition concerns on any of the markets examined in the EEA or in Italy. It has therefore approved the transaction unconditionally.
