Seb: acknowledges decisions of French Competition Authority
(CercleFinance.com) - The Group takes note of the press release published by the French Competition Authority on 19 December 2024 concerning an investigation opened in October 2013 into the manufacture and distribution of household electrical appliances in France.
The French Competition Authority has sanctioned several manufacturers and distributors of household electrical appliances.
The Autorité has fined Groupe SEB France and Groupe SEB Retailing E189.5m for allegedly imposing fixed sales prices on its distributors over 2008-2013.
The group categorically refutes the Autorité de la concurrence's conclusion against it, and rejects any allegation that its practices did not comply with competition rules.
The group will appeal to the Paris Court of Appeal.
