Sandoz: measures to resolve US antitrust dispute
(CercleFinance.com) - Sandoz today announced a series of steps aimed at resolving the US generic antitrust class action litigation.
Sandoz has reached a settlement agreement with the group of final payor plaintiffs for a total of $275m, which is expected to be paid by 31 December 2024.
The company has also set aside a provision of $265m for outstanding claims filed by opt-out plaintiffs and state attorneys general.
The group says there will be no impact on Sandoz's current forecasts for 2024 and the medium term.
