
Alstom: signs two contracts with Ontrain in Poland
(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom has announced the signature of two contracts with OnTrain in Poland.
The first contract covers the supply of 35 third-generation Traxx Universal multi-system locomotives, with an option for OnTrain to purchase another 20 vehicles.
The rolling stock covered by this contract will be authorised to operate in Poland, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia.
Under the second contract, Alstom will supply five third-generation Traxx Universal multisystem locomotives, which will operate in the Eastern Corridor, i.e. in Poland, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.
Alstom said that it is delighted with the contract with Ontrain, a new player in the market that has chosen our locomotives as the basis for its fleet of vehicles to meet transport needs in Poland and the region.
