Airbus: Bahrain orders nine helicopters
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus Helicopters announces that it has signed a contract with Bahrain's Ministry of the Interior, for the purchase of nine H145 helicopters, which will be operated for law enforcement and emergency medical services missions in the kingdom.
Over 60 H145s are already in service in the Middle East, and demand for this type of helicopter continues to grow for a wide range of missions, Airbus Helicopters says.
The aircraft manufacturer points out that the new version of its best-selling H145 light twin-engine helicopter adds an innovative new five-blade rotor to this multi-mission aircraft, increasing the helicopter's payload by 150 kg.
