Gimv: acquires Nantes-based energy company Tibbloc
(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday the Belgian investment company Gimv announced that it has acquired the Tibbloc group, a specialist in the turnkey rental of temporary energy equipment.
Created in 2007 near Nantes, Tibbloc offers temporary energy equipment for rental, ranging from heating and cooling to steam, compressed air and dehumidification.
Present in France, Belgium, Austria and Germany, the group generates annual sales of over E40m, and has a workforce of around 120 employees.
In addition to equipment rental, the company offers a range of services from project study and specification to logistics and installation.
Its customers include players in district heating networks, the food industry, industry, pharmaceuticals and the service sector.
Gimv's acquisition of a stake in Tibbloc will enable the company to accelerate its development, both in France and internationally, by continuing to invest in order to expand its equipment fleet and structure the group.
With this investment, Tibbloc becomes one of the top 10 holdings in Gimv's current portfolio of over 60 companies.
