Atos: agreement reached in Unisys lawsuit
(CercleFinance.com) - Atos announced on Tuesday that it had reached an agreement with Unisys to resolve the lawsuit that the technology group had filed against it and two of its employees.
While the financial terms of the settlement remain confidential, it will have only a limited impact on Atos' net debt as regards its projections for the fourth quarter of 2024 and for fiscal 2025, the French company assures in a press release.
In the case, Atos had hired two former Unisys employees, who subsequently filed an initial complaint in a US federal court in Pennsylvania, as well as a temporary restraining order, suspecting the two employees of misappropriating confidential documents.
In 2023, this temporary restraining order had been granted on the grounds of disclosing confidential, proprietary or secret information and soliciting other employees to leave their employment with Unisys.
