Hermès: inauguratees new store in Lille
(CercleFinance.com) - Hermès announced Wednesday evening the inauguration of a new store in Lille, where the Parisian luxury house has been established since the 1950s.
The enlarged space, now located at 23-25 rue des Chats-Bossus just a few minutes' walk from its historic flagship, houses the brand's sixteen métiers, from leather goods to perfumes to jewelry.
Hermès specifies that the design of the store, housed in an architectural complex dating from the 15th and 16th centuries, was inspired by the Flemish Renaissance, and in particular by the paintings of painter Pieter De Hooch
With this reopening, Hermès is expressing its confidence in the French market and its deep attachment to the capital of Flanders.
