Honewell: sells personal protective equipment business
(CercleFinance.com) - Honeywell announced on Friday that it had reached an agreement to sell its personal protective equipment business to private equity fund Odyssey Investment Partners for $1.
325bn, in cash.
Amongst other things, the division includes protective equipment for the eyes, face and hands, as well as tools to prevent falls and masks and breathing apparatus, notably for first aid.
The US industrial conglomerate says that its decision is to help it simplify its operations around three main themes: automation, aviation and the energy transition.
