Alstom: new services agreement with Saudi Railway Company
(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom announced a new services agreement with Saudi Railway Company (SAR) at the Saudi Rail Exhibition.
The five-year contract, worth 300 million Saudi riyals (c. E77m), aims to optimize the east-west freight corridor, key to the Kingdom's economic growth.
The agreement includes technical assistance, the supply of spare parts, specific training for SAR personnel, and the integration of the HealthHub digital solution for predictive maintenance.
By equipping SAR with cutting-edge technologies and transferring knowledge, we are fostering a competitive and sustainable sector, while enriching local talent and expertise in the Kingdom's rail industry, Alstom said.
