Boeing: US Air Force orders 15 KC-46A aircraft
(CercleFinance.com) - Boeing has announced an order to build an additional 15 KC-46A Pegasus tanker aircraft as part of the $2.
38bn Lot 11 contract awarded by the US Air Force.
This gives the aircraft manufacturer a total of 168 KC-46A Multi-Mission Aerial Refueling Tankers under contract worldwide, offering advanced capability advantages to the joint force and its allies.
The Pegasus made its first full-scale operational deployment last October, after the US Air Force's Air Mobility Command approved the KC-46A for global combat operations in 2022.
