Bekaert: 10% fall in nine-month sales

02bn for the first nine months of 2024, down 10% as a result of lower prices (-5%) reflecting lower raw material costs, as well as lower volumes (-4%).
The Belgian group, which specializes in wire rope and coating technologies, nevertheless claims continued good cash flow generation, thanks to operating efficiencies and disciplined capital spending.
For its 2024 financial year, it currently anticipates sales of just under E4bn, underlying EBIT in the 340-350 million range, and continued good cash flow generation for the year.
