Baker Hughes: inaugurates new facilities in Namibia
(CercleFinance.com) - Baker Hughes has announced the inauguration, in Walvis Bay (Namibia) of a liquid mud plant (the largest in the country), a bulk cement facility and an integrated multimodal center, aimed at supporting Namibia's energy industry.
These infrastructures will supply offshore operations with drilling fluids and provide advanced subsea services, the company says.
Capable of storing 15,000 barrels of fluids, these sites will employ local workers trained by Baker Hughes, in collaboration with NAMCOR (National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia), and the Ministry of Mines.
