BAE Systems: integrates electronic controls on JetZero
(CercleFinance.com) - BAE Systems has announced the supply and integration of next-generation active sidesticks (a device similar to a joystick but placed on the side of the cockpit) on JetZero's integrated fuselage aircraft, aimed at promoting sustainable aviation.
These electronic controls offer immediate, intuitive feedback to pilots, reducing complexity, weight and clutter compared with mechanical controls.
The sidesticks also enable electronic synchronization between pilots, improving in-flight coordination.
