Stellantis: launches STLA Frame multi-energy platform
(CercleFinance.com) - Stellantis yesterday announced the launch of the STLA Frame multi-energy platform, designed for large pick-ups and SUVs.
Aimed primarily at the North American market, it offers a range of up to 800 km with BEV and 1100 km with the REEV system, a maximum towing capacity of 6350 kg and a payload of 1224 kg.
This platform, compatible with several propulsion systems, emphasizes durability, robustness and energy efficiency thanks to advanced high-strength steel and cutting-edge technologies.
According to the manufacturer, rapid charging recovers 160 km of range in 10 minutes (BEV).
By integrating bi-directionality and the latest innovations in energy storage, it fits in with the Dare Forward 2030 strategy, aiming for total electrification in Europe and partial electrification in the USA by 2030.
