GE Vernova: agreement to buy Woodward activities
(CercleFinance.com) - GE Vernova announces the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire Woodward's gas turbine combustion parts business, located in Greenville, South Carolina.
The acquisition is part of GE Vernova's strategy to strengthen the domestic supply chain and support the US manufacturing industry.
Eric Gray, President and CEO of GE Vernova Gas Power, said: 'This integration will strengthen our ability to meet the growing demand for our gas turbines and support our country's electrification needs. '
The transaction, the financial terms of which were not disclosed, is expected to close in early 2025, subject to closing conditions.
