FDJ: successfully prices inaugural bond issue
(CercleFinance.com) - La Française des Jeux (FDJ) reports that it has successfully placed its inaugural bond issue for E1.
5bn, in three tranches of E500m each, maturing in six, nine and 12 years, and with annual coupons of 3.000%, 3.375% and 3.625%.
Final demand exceeded E7bn, from over two hundred top-tier investors on each tranche, and the proceeds will refinance the bulk of the E2bn bridging loan put in place in connection with the Kindred acquisition.
In addition, FDJ has put in place a E400m loan, syndicated with banks and repayable over five years. This financing is also intended for the repayment of the bridging loan, which will be settled by the company's cash flow.
