Generali: upbeat after 9m results
(CercleFinance.com) - Generali shares are up over 5% in Milan today, following its publication of adjusted net income of E2.
88bn to end-September 2024, up 3.4% excluding an exceptional capital gain recorded in the same period a year earlier.
Its operating income rose by 7.9% to E5.4bn, underpinned by strong contributions from its life (+8.0%) and wealth and asset management (+20.1%) segments, while its gross written premiums grew by 18.1% to E70.7bn.
We are fully on track to successfully complete the 'Lifetime Partner 24: Driving Growth' plan and are working on our new strategy, which will be presented on 30 January 2025, the Italian insurance company says.
