Technip Energies: contract awarded for FPSO in Suriname
(CercleFinance.com) - Technip Energies, in partnership with SBM Offshore, has been awarded a "major" contract by TotalEnergies for the GranMorgu floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) unit in Suriname.
Under this contract, a joint venture will build and install the FPSO, drawing on Technip Energies' expertise in topsides engineering and modularization, and SBM Offshore's Fast4Ward hull.
Designed to minimize greenhouse gas emissions, notably through the absence of routine flaring, this first FPSO project in Suriname is located in Block 58, around 150 kilometres offshore Suriname.
