Bureau Veritas: acquires Versatec Energy
(CercleFinance.com) - Bureau Veritas has announced the acquisition of Versatec Energy, an independent technical consultancy specialising in the offshore and onshore energy industry, an operation which underlines the Group's commitment to the energy transition.
It enables it to broaden its range of services in key areas such as oil and gas, nuclear power and renewable energy solutions such as offshore wind or carbon capture and storage (CCSU).
Versatec Energy capitalizes on more than 40 years of expertise in five main areas: health, safety and environment, operational excellence, quality and technical compliance, technical documentation and training, and advanced digital solutions.
This Dutch company employs 35 experts and consultants and generated sales of E4.2m in 2023. Since its creation, it has been involved in over 1,500 projects in Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Africa.
