Warner Bros: back to black in Q3
(CercleFinance.com) - Warner Bros Discovery reports a net profit of $135m for its Q3 2024, compared with a loss of $417m a year earlier, while adjusted EBITDA fell 19% to $2.

At $9.62bn, revenues were down 4% (-3% excluding currency effects), with a 17% drop in the studio segment not offset by 3% growth in the media segment and 8% in the DTC (direct-to-consumer) segment.
In all, Max gained 7.2 million net subscribers, the strongest quarterly growth since the platform's launch, translating into a vigorous increase in subscriber-related revenues, management said.
