Jacquet Metals: 9m net income divided by 12
(CercleFinance.com) - Jacquet Metals reports consolidated 9m sales of E1,543m, down 12.
6% on 30 September 2023.
In detail, sales were penalized by a 5.1% drop in volumes and a 12.7% fall in prices, but benefited from a +5.3% increase in the consolidation scope following acquisitions made in 2023 and 2024.
Underlying EBITDA thus came to E61m, about half the E118m at 30 September 2023.
Underlying operating income stood at E28m (vs. E91m a year earlier).
After recording provisional badwill of E4.4m at the beginning of the year, Group net income came to E4.1m (vs. E49m a year earlier).
The group has said that it will have to cope with weak demand in all its markets, and with pressure on prices and gross margins. Thus, in Q4 2024, market conditions are unlikely to improve on those observed in Q3, it estimates.
In an economic environment that remains uncertain, the group says that it will focus on managing its working capital requirements and costs, preserving its financial strength, and pursuing its investment and development policy.
