BASF: inaugurates new production line in Netherlands
(CercleFinance.com) - BASF announces that it has recently inaugurated a new production line for aqueous dispersions in Heerenveen (Netherlands).
It says that thanks to this new line, production capacity will be increased, with no additional CO2 emissions.
The extension is based on the existing infrastructure and buildings. The plant will be supplied with electricity and green power from the Hollandse Kust Zuid wind farm, which BASF operates in a joint venture with Vattenfall and Allianz.
Our site aims to become CO2-neutral and contribute to BASF's climate protection goals. At the same time, we want to continue developing to serve our customers with products that have a low ecological footprint, BASF adds.
