BNP Paribas: Barclays lowers target price
(CercleFinance.com) - Barclays confirms its 'overweight' recommendation on BNP Paribas shares, but lowers its TP for them from E90 to E85, after reducing its 2025-26 EPS forecasts by 5% to 7%, to levels closer to consensus.
While net profit was in line with expectations, Q3 saw some negative surprises, with a CET1 ratio 20bp lower and lower revenues in retail banking in the eurozone, Equities & Prime, Arval & Leasing, the broker notes.
