Fraport: confirms targets for 2024
(CercleFinance.com) - The Fraport Group increased its sales by 12.
2% over the past nine months to E3.393bn.
Q3 sales rose by 11.0% thanks to growth in passenger numbers, to E1.354bn (vs. E1.220bn in Q3 2023).
Group operating income (EBITDA) reached E1.051bn over 9 months (+9.5%). Almost half of this EBITDA is attributable to international activities, which are largely focused on growth, management says.
9m 2024 Frankfurt Airport's passenger numbers rose 4.9% to around 46.7 million (9m 2023: 44.5 million passengers).
Group earnings (or net profit) rose by 21.6% to E434.0m over 9 months.
At E273.2m Q3 2024 group earnings were almost identical to the previous year's result (Q3 2023: E272.0m).

Annual passenger numbers at Frankfurt Airport are expected to be at the lower end of the 61 to 65 million passenger range. Fraport expects Group EBITDA to be in the middle of the range, between E1.26bn and around E1.36bn. Fraport also expects Group earnings to be in the mid-range of forecasts, between around E435m and E530m.
