Ryanair: H1 profit down 18%
(CercleFinance.com) - Ryanair has published sales of E5.
07bn for its Q2 2025, up 3% y-o-y.
The company says that it carried 59.8 million passengers over the quarter, up 9% y-o-y, with a load factor of 95%, down 1pt.
It had to contend with a 6% rise in operating costs (E3.42bn), resulting in an after-tax profit of E1.43bn, down 6%.
Ryanair recorded a 1% increase in H1 2025 sales, to E8.69bn, for an after-tax profit of E1.79bn, down 18%.
For the full year, Ryanair is targeting between 198m and 200m passengers (+8%), provided that the current Boeing delivery delays do not worsen.
The company adds that it has 'virtually zero' visibility for Q4, and that consequently it is still too early to provide a meaningful net income forecast for FY 2025.
