BAE Systems: invests £220m at Rochester site
(CercleFinance.com) - BAE Systems has announced a £220m investment to modernise its Rochester, site in Kent, the UK, dedicated to its UK electronic systems activities.
The project includes the creation of a new state-of-the-art factory of over 32,000 m², and aims to optimise the working environment by integrating manufacturing, engineering and office spaces.
Improvements include refurbishment of office and parking facilities, as well as enhanced energy efficiency management.
The expansion is expected to create 300 jobs within five years.
