Santander: 9m EPS up 19%
(CercleFinance.com) - Santander reports EPS of E0.
57 for the first nine months of 2024, up 18.6%, on total revenues that rose 6.9% to over E45.8bn, driven by a 7.9% rise in net interest income.
Strong growth in net interest income in all activities and regions, supported by four million additional customers, and excellent cost control more than offset the expected increase in provisions, the Spanish bank says.
Santander recalls that it raised three of its targets for 2024 in July, and expects 'high single-digit' revenue growth in constant euros, an efficiency ratio of around 42% and a RoTE of over 16%.
