TotalEnergies: discovery in Danish North Sea
(CercleFinance.com) - TotalEnergies announces that the Harald East Middle Jurassic (HEMJ-1X) exploration well, drilled 250 kilometres off the west coast of Denmark, has discovered new gas condensate resources in the eastern part of the Harald field in the Danish North Sea.
The well encountered 48 meters of gas condensate in a good quality reservoir. It will be immediately connected to the Harald platform and should start producing before the end of the year via the existing Harald and Tyra infrastructures.
The French oil and gas company says it is acting as operator on behalf of the Danish Underground Consortium, a partnership between TotalEnergies (43.2%), BlueNord (36.8%) and Nordsøfonden (20%).
