BAE Systems: navigation system successfully tested
(CercleFinance.com) - BAE Systems announces that its Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver system, based on a specific next-generation integrated circuit (ASIC), has successfully demonstrated M-Code signal tracking as part of the Military GPS User Equipment (MGUE) Inc 2 Miniature Serial Interface (MSI) program.
This development, the result of a USD 247 million contract awarded by the US Space Force's Space Systems Command in 2020, will enhance Positioning, Navigation and Time-Stamping (PNT) capabilities.
This development milestone validates that we have the core of our next-generation GNSS technology, BAE Systems said.
