Boeing: LATAM Airlines orders ten 787 Dreamliners
(CercleFinance.com) - Boeing has announced that LATAM Airlines Group has ordered ten 787 Dreamliners, with an option for a further five, strengthening its fleet, described as the most modern in Latin America.
LATAM, which currently operates 37 787s in the region, plans to increase this number to 52 by 2030.
The new 787-9s will enable LATAM to increase capacity on its main routes and open up new routes, notably to Sydney.
This aircraft will enable us to grow sustainably, while reducing our carbon footprint, LATAM's CFO said.
