LDC: acquires Groupe Pierre Martinet
(CercleFinance.com) - Following on from the exclusive negotiations announced on 28 May, LDC has announced the signature of a project to acquire 100% of the capital of Groupe Pierre Martinet, subject to the prior approval of the Autorité de la Concurrence.
With 2023 sales of nearly E230m, Pierre Martinet employs over 700 people at five production sites in France. Today, it is one of the market leaders in delicatessen salads and N°1 in tabbouleh.
This operation should enable LDC's delicatessen activities to be present in 70% of the delicatessen product families in supermarkets, thus strengthening its presence alongside the Marie brand, the agri-food group specialising in poultry explains.
