Safran: OI target raised for 2024

(CercleFinance.com) - Announcing good performance at end-September, Safran says it now expects operating income before non-recurring items (OI) of around E4.
1bn for 2024 (compared with 'close to four billion' previously).

However, the group has reduced its annual sales forecast to around E27.1bn (from around E27.4bn), after lowering its forecasts for OE deliveries for short- and medium-haul aircraft.

On an adjusted basis, the aircraft engine and equipment manufacturer posted 9m 2024 sales of almost E19.7bn, up 17.4% (+17% on an organic basis).

In addition, Safran estimates that if the temporary increase in corporate income tax in France were to be implemented, its additional current tax charge for 2024 would be arround E320m to E340m, with a disbursement in 2025.
