Hermès: sales up at E11.2bn at end-September

(CercleFinance.com) - The group's consolidated sales amounted to E11.
2bn at end-September 2024, up 13.8% at constant exchange rates and 11.4% at current exchange rates compared with the same period in 2023.

Q3 sales continued to grow, reaching E3.7bn, up 11.3% at constant exchange rates and 10.1% at current exchange rates. All regions reported growth, despite a particularly high basis of comparison in Europe and Asia-Pacific, it says.

Leather Goods and Saddlery continued to progress, with sales up 17.3% at constant exchange rates to E4,789m at end-September. Demand remains strong for both iconic models, which are constantly being reinvented, and for new models". The Apparel and Accessories division confirmed its solid momentum, with sales up +14.8% to E3,296m.

The Silk and Textiles business grew by +2.2% to E646m at end-September. Perfumes and Beauty posted growth of +6.8% to E388m.

In the medium term, management says that despite economic, geopolitical and monetary uncertainties around the world, the group confirms an ambitious sales growth target at constant exchange rates.
