Thales: delivers first Bi-NYX binoculars to French Army
(CercleFinance.com) - Thales has delivered 300 night vision binoculars (NVBs) to the French Army, the first batch of an order received in December 2023 for 2,000 units, with the remaining 1,700 to be delivered by the end of the year.
The Bi-NYX binocular binoculars, which are particularly well-suited to vehicle driving, complement the 12960 O-NYX binocular binoculars already deployed in French Army regiments for dismounted combatants.
The Bi-NYX binocular is based on the Nellie solution, which integrates the latest optical and light intensification technologies to offer high-resolution stereoscopic vision with an extra-wide field of view in an ultra-light binocular.
