BMW: 9m deliveries down over 4%
(CercleFinance.com) - BMW Group reports that it has delivered a total of just over 1.
75 million vehicles worldwide to end-September 2024, down 4.5% y-o-y.
The German premium carmaker explains that this contraction largely reflects delivery stoppages related to braking system problems in Q3, as well as persistent weak demand in China.
However, it highlights a significant (+19.1%) increase in deliveries of all-electric vehicles despite difficult market conditions, as well as market share gains for its BMW brand in Europe.
