Bouygues: goes on offensive in consumer telecoms

(CercleFinance.com) - On 7 October, Bouygues Telecom will announce the launch of a new B.
IG brand and a new offer aimed at families, as part of a new strategy to win new customers and build loyalty in the consumer market.

This strategy is designed to respond to customers' heightened sensitivity in terms of purchasing power through sustainable and competitive prices, and to propose attractive bundled offers including a box and several mobile lines in order to encourage multi-line households.

Over the next few years, the telecom operator expects service sales and EBITDAaL 2026 to grow modestly compared with 2023, and to be lower than the figures presented at the Capital Markets Day in January 2021.

However, it also anticipates continued work on cost control and operating efficiency, as well as a reduction in investment requirements from 2025 onwards compared with the trajectory presented at the CMD.

Bouygues Telecom says it is 'confident in its ability to generate significant cash flow on a sustainable basis', and confirms its objectives for FY 2024 and its target of FCF before WCR of around 600 million euros in 2026.
