TotalEnergies: acquires gas assets in Texas
(CercleFinance.com) - TotalEnergies announces that it has signed an agreement with Lewis Energy Group to acquire a 45% interest in producing dry gas assets owned and operated by Lewis Energy Group in the Eagle Ford Basin, Texas.
Located in the southwestern part of the state, these low-cost, long plateau production assets have the potential to grow to gross production of approximately 400 Mcf/d by 2028. They will strengthen TotalEnergies' position in the US LNG value chain.
This is the second acquisition of non-operated gas assets in 2024, following the purchase of a non-operated interest in the Dorado permits from Lewis Energy Group in the Eagle Ford Basin in H1 2024.
