KKR: acquires UK software firm IQGeo
(CercleFinance.com) - KKR has announced that it has acquired IQGeo, a UK developer of geospatial software, for £333m.
Over the past five years, IQGeo's share price has risen by more than 900%, and revenues have grown from around £10m in 2018 to over £44m in 2023.
IQGeo's geospatial software and services help leading operators in the telecoms and utilities sectors to design and operate fiber optic and electricity networks.
The company is well positioned for continued growth in sectors driven by the rapid increase in demand for fiber deployment, as well as the transformation of power grid infrastructure and the impact of increasing electrification, the group says.
