Atos: contract with Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois
(CercleFinance.com) - Atos announces that its subsidiary Eviden has been chosen by Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois (CFL) to provide its next-generation, mission-critical rail communications solutions to modernize their GSM-R command and control room network.
Aimed at maximizing the safety and operational efficiency of CFL's rail operations, this advanced, end-to-end solution will be fully operational by the end of 2026.
This is one of the first commercial MCx projects in Europe deployed by a railway company, and a first step towards FRCMS, the future international wireless standard for railway communications and applications.
