TotalEnergies: LNG sales agreement in Turkey
(CercleFinance.com) - TotalEnergies announces the signature of a sales agreement with the Turkish group BOTAs, for the delivery of 1.
1 million tons of LNG per year for 10 years from 2027, enabling the company to strengthen its long-term presence in the Turkish LNG market.
TotalEnergies says that this agreement enables it to secure long-term sales and reduce our exposure to fluctuations in gas prices on the spot market.
The company says that natural gas is a genuine transitional energy that compensates for the intermittency of renewable energies and helps to reduce emissions when it replaces coal in power generation.
