Clariant: sells industrial park in Frankfurt
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday Swiss specialty chemicals manufacturer Clariant announced that it had reached an agreement to sell its Fechenheim industrial complex, east of Frankfurt, for E95m.
The 428,000 m2 complex, in which Clariant has no operations, will be sold to the Lugman real estate group.
The company says it expects to record a gain of 70m Swiss francs from the transaction, an amount it will use to reduce its debt and strengthen its balance sheet.
The transaction is expected to be completed in the course of 2025.
