Nokia: launches new Internet solution in Armenia
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has announced that Team Telecom Armenia has deployed its PON 25G fiber solution, making it one of the first operators in the Caucasus and Central Asia regions to offer some of the fastest Internet speeds on the market.
Team Telecom Armenia's network, based on Nokia's PON 25G technology, covers around 300,000 households across Armenia.
The PON 25G rollout aims to cover B2B subscribers and offer true 20 Gb/s broadband speeds.
Based on the Quillion chipset, Nokia's PON 25G fiber broadband solution enables Team Telecom Armenia to reuse its existing fiber broadband equipment to immediately meet the demand for increased capacity and enhanced broadband services.
