Dollar Tree: lowers annual targets
(CercleFinance.com) - On its quarterly earnings call, Dollar Tree has lowered its annual targets, now expecting adjusted EPS of $5.
20 to $5.60 for the current financial year, below the $6.50 to $7 forecast range provided three months ago. NB: pmt -11.5%.
The distribution group now expects sales of $30.6bn to $30.9bn (below the previous estimate of $31bn to $32bn), up in the low single digits (no longer low or mid-single digits) on a comparable basis.
Dollar Tree's Q2 adjusted EPS fell 26.4% to $0.67, while its adjusted operating margin slipped 90bp to 3% on sales of $7.37bn, up 0.7% on a comparable basis.
