Arkema: management team to be strengthened
(CercleFinance.com) - Arkema announced on Thursday the appointment of two new executives to its Executive Committee under the aegis of Thierry Le Hénaff, the chemical group's current CEO.
Sophie Fouillat, currently Director of Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) at subsidiary Bostik, has been named Executive Vice President in charge of Group Strategy.
She will replace Bernard Boyer, who has retired, with effect from 1 October.
A newcomer to the company, German Tilo Quink will join from Henkel on 1 September as Executive Vice President, Performance Additives, a position previously held by Laurent Tellier.
Tellier, already a member of the Executive Committee, will take up the position of Executive Vice President, Performance Polymers and Fluorinated Gases, succeeding Erwoan Pezron, who will become an advisor to the CEO and remain a member of the Executive Committee until his retirement at the end of the year.
Chaired by Thierry Le Hénaff, Arkema's Executive Committee will subsequently comprise a total of nine members.
