Viridien: contract for Sercel nodes with DMT
(CercleFinance.com) - Viridien announces that its Sensing & Monitoring division (Sercel), has sold and delivered a total of 30,000 WiNG terrestrial seismic nodes to DMT GmbH & Co KG, a global engineering and consulting services group headquartered in Essen, Germany.
The innovative and highly efficient WiNG nodes will be deployed by DMT as part of a large-scale seismic survey campaign planned in urban areas to discover energy resources, particularly geothermal resources, the former CGG says.
Equipped with the ultra-sensitive, wide-band QuietSeis MEMS (micro-electro-mechanical systems) digital sensor, Sercel's WiNG node offers optimum data quality for exceptional subsurface imaging, it continues.
