Accor: taking part in Paralympic Games
(CercleFinance.com) - In the run-up to the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, Accor has announced that 150 of its employees will accompany the athletes and delegations before the opening ceremony, which will take the form of a parade on the Place de la Concorde on 28 August.
The hotel group is also donating 1,000 remote controls for visually-impaired or blind athletes and travelers, including 600 standardised remote controls for athletes arriving at the Athletes' Village, and 400 others in its hotels.
Accor has also reached a new milestone in its efforts to obtain the French government's 'Tourisme et Handicap' label, with over 400 of the group's hotels involved in this quality accessibility initiative to meet the specific needs of people with all kinds of disabilities.
