
Linde: long-term agreement to supply hydrogen to Dow
(CercleFinance.com) - Linde has signed a long-term agreement to supply clean hydrogen to Dow's Path2Zero project in Fort Saskatchewan.
The company will invest over $2bn to build and operate a clean hydrogen production facility in Alberta, Canada.
The complex will use advanced technologies to produce and recover clean hydrogen, while capturing more than 2 million tonnes of CO2 per year.
Scheduled for completion in 2028, the facility will be the largest of its kind in Canada, and one of the largest in the world. This project is part of Linde and Dow's strategy to decarbonize their operations.
