(CercleFinance.com) - The Stef Group has announced that its subsidiary Langdons has acquired Long Lane Deliveries, a Scottish transport and logistics group.
This transaction is part of the STEF Group's growth strategy as a European pure player in the food supply chain.
Long Lane Deliveries, a family-owned group established in 2002 and a long-standing partner of Langdons, specialises in the transport and logistics of fresh, frozen and ambient food products in Scotland and throughout the UK.
It employs 330 people and has a fleet of 140 vehicles. It operates from two sites in Bellshill (near Glasgow) and Dundee.
