As the original manufacturer, BAE Systems will upgrade the hardware and software to enhance processing power and safety, and resolve obsolescence issues.
This upgrade will ensure the aircraft's future operational readiness and enable them to integrate new functions.
The upgrade will be carried out at BAE Systems' facilities in Endicott, New York.
